Dr. Akiyama visited Assist. Prof. Hyukjin Lee’s laboratory, Ewha Womans University, from October 5 to October 11, 2016. During the stay, he did the transfection into neonatal rat cardiomyocytes by non-viral nucleic acid delivery technique, and discussed with Hyukjin Lee’s laboratory members. This is a collaboration work for fabricating transfected cardiomyocyte sheets expressing growth factor to induce neo-vascularization.
