Drs. Akiyama, Nakayama, and Kobayashi delivered primary rat hepatocytes form Tokyo Women’s Medical University to Prof. Okajima’s laboratory, Hokkaido University (from February 4 to February 5, 2016), and determined the viability of hepatocytes for optimizing delivery methods. On February 5, 2016, we checked the morphologies of cultured hepatocytes and collected the culture medium for determining hepatic functions.
